Following is a description of the scrip program.
Safeway Escrip
In order to earn fundraising credit from Safeway scrip you need to have a Safeway club card (sign up at Safeway) and register your card with Escrip, linking it to Scottsdale Aquatic Club.
To do this, go to the internet and log onto to www.escrip.com.
Click on “sign up” and enter our group name (Scottsdale Aquatic Club) or our group # 11775617. Fill in your personal information including your Safeway club card #.
Each time you shop and use your Safeway club card, your purchases will be automatically tracked and Safeway will make a monthly contribution to the team.
The contribution is as follows:
Purchases up to $300 monthly = 1% credit
Purchases $300 to $500 monthly = 2% credit
Purchases $500 and up monthly =3% credit
Additional Escrip Merchants:
Check at www.escrip.com to see which other merchants are currently members of the program. To receive credit for your purchases at these merchants you must register your charge or debit cards that you normally use at www.escrip.com.
Rewards Network for Hotels and Dining Escrip
For participating locations and to sign up for this program, visit www.escrip.rewardsnetwork.com.
You will need to register with your credit card. This is a separate registration process from Safeway scrip, so be sure to register with both programs if you want to receive fundraising credit for both.
*You can have other family members or friends sign up to support the team and you will receive credit for their contributions as well. Make sure you notify the office if you do recruit other supporters so that your account gets credit. Please note that Escrip takes a 15% administrative fee every month off your contribution total. In addition, it takes 60 days after the end of each month for Escrip to report your contribution to us so there will be a 2 month lag time in recording the credit to your fundraising account.
 
Grocery Certificates Available in the Office
Another fundraising option is the purchase of grocery certificates in the office every weekday afternoon.
Fry’s: Gift cards in $100 denominations can be purchased. Make your check payable to SAC and use the gift card like a credit card. A total of 5% will be applied to your fundraising account for each $100 card purchased.
Basha’s (can also be used at AJ’s):Gift cards in $100 denominations can be purchased. Make your check payable to SAC and use the gift card like a credit card. A total of 6% will be applied to your fundraising account for each $100 card purchased.
Both Basha's and Fry's gift cards can be reloaded at the grocery store. Turn your receipt into the office to receive fundraising credit. Please reload in increments of $100. You can only reload cards you have purchased from SAC.
If you want to make a large purchase of grocery scrip (over $600), it is helpful if you can let us know ahead of time so that we can have sufficient stock on hand.
Once each month (first Wed. of each month) you can submit an order for mail order scrip. An extensive list of retailers, restaurants, and entertainment merchants offer gift certificates. You can access a detailed list of merchants at the link below. Fundraising credit varies from merchant to merchant. Turn in your order to the office with a check payable to SAC. Certificates available for pick up in the office approximately one week later.

An alternative way to use this program is to log into www.shopwithscrip.com. Go to the "Getting Started" page and under "Scrip using families," click on the link to the registration page. Create an account using your email address and associate your account with SAC using this enrollment code:3AEF853F4564. Select the scrip you wish to order and tally your order - then send a check into the office by our monthly deadline. Once you have created an account, you also have the option of paying with a secure ACH from your bank account, called Presto Pay. Once you set this up, you will receive an approval code from Great Lakes Scrip which you must forward to sac6coach@aol.com to confirm your enrollment. The process does take a couple of days. Gift cards will be available for pick up in the office approximately a week after the team order goes in each month.
Pick up a contribution card from the SAC office before going to the carwash. When you pay for the carwash, have the cashier scan the barcode on your contribution card. Turn your carwash receipt into the SAC office and you will will receive a fundraising credit of $.50 up to $5.00, depending on the level of sevice you purchase at the carwash.
The contribution card can be used over and over.
