Training Group Parent Meetings

Each Training Group will be holding parent meetings as follows. This is an important meeting about the upcoming season and a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the club. Please arrange for at least one parent to be there.

Blue & Gold Meet

The SAC Blue & Gold Meet will be held on Friday, September 12, at 4:00pm. The coaches will divide the team into two squads who will then compete in several fun events for the Blue & Gold Trophy!! This is a great way to kick off the competition season and to meet your teammates in other training groups. The meet will be followed with a Pizza Party in the park!!

 TEST SETS

Beginning this fall, SAC will be implementing TEAM-WIDE TEST SETS that will be one of the factors used in determining future training group placement. These Test Sets are very important for your swimmers. A score for each test set will be used in determining a total test set score. It is important that your child complete each of the three test sets at least once. Each successive time through the tests, the swimmers goal is to improve their score. Test sets for each training group will be held on the same day of the week during test weeks. Below is a schedule of the Fall Test Set dates. 2008 Swim-A-Thon Committee

We are looking for several volunteers to join our Swim-A-Thon Committee. This year's Swim-A-Thon will take place in late October and we are going to plan a great event around it. This is a huge fundraiser for our club and we need to start working on it now. If you have any interest in taking up this position, please stop by the SAC office and submit your name. Those volunteers who serve on the Swim-A-Thon Committee will receive 250 participation points. Others who help out during the event (set-up, take down, etc) will also receive participation points!!
